The main character Joel has so many lovable characteristics that you will find him irresistable. What I enjoyed most was that the book was filled with erotic scenes, but Mr. Hairston still developed his characters and his storylines. Too many authors I've read, write a book filled with sex, and forget about making the book intriguing. I love the way Mr. Hairston explored different relationships other than traditional ones. After reading the first chapter you can easily fall in love with the main character Joel (especially if you are woman).Joel is not your average man. I bought this book based on the reviews no one had given this a ONE star so I figured I would buy. I was so disapointed, so, so disapointed. In the begginging it read and sounded very promising the details and the setting made me feel as though i was in a corner watching all this unfold. However the more I read about Joel the more sick I felt. There is no human as good and understanding as Joel this was the perfect man if one ever exist. Just too unrealistic, to much drama that leads to other drama that just doesnt make any sense. Goes from characters not knowing there sexuality to someone who is
