DESCRIPTION:
Excellent dialogue I just recently bought the book and read it in a few days. I do not think it is particularly strong on character development nor do I think the plot of the book is going to surprise anyone; it is, afterall, a chronicle of an already very well chronicled war. BUT, the dialogue is excellent, it had me chuckling and laughing several times, and the writing style is strong and engaging. I would compare it to Pulp Fiction, Full Metal Jacket and Training Day where the dialogue of the characters, along with a standout performance here and there, is the backbone of the movie. I read an excerpt of thi. Tom said Fascinating Story.. Incredible story. I really enjoyed getting inside the head of a Marine like this. I plan on rereading this regularly. "Way to much sexual comments. Had a reall hard" according to Mel Nefstead. Way to much sexual comments. Had a reall hard time finishing it. Some may be true but not for making a profit.
