great creativity When I started this I thought it would be too similar to the first one, Dead Harvest. The organ donation premise was a surprise in Dead Harvest. I haven't read a book before with that plot. But, as I got into this book the author took it a lot further. Part of the investigation intrigued me, I had never heard of cellular memory. After fin. MissScarlett said Superb. I loved this book from start to finish; the mingling of police procedural with the controversial subject of cellular memory is deftly done. The characters are sympathetically drawn, including their flaws. I look forward to enjoying future Insp. Ray Wilson thrillers, as I did Dead Harvest.. Great summer read Terrific characterisation, solid plot, intriguing concept of cellular memory. Excellent follow to Leatham's previous Ray Wilson book, with the same authentic detail of police procedure. Three thumbs up!
