Christina ID said Not quite for res. This book is definitely decent to say the least. You need not be a culinary master; the recipes are relatively simple and easy to prepare, and as far as I can tell, none of the recipes take more than an hour. However, the title is deceiving. As an incoming freshman, I expected it to use microwaves and hotpots, but it requires stoves and ovens. This book is good for the busy, hungry student, but not for one still in the res halls. It is aimed well at the college community, complete with sections on different drinks and munchies. The recipe names are a little cheesy at times,
