Really good for curious Engineer Wahyu Pamungkas The contain is refering to many data of setup equipment which needed for new curious engineer. I wish I could have this book several years ago.. "Poorly written book" according to Chris Farley. The book is poorly written. Author seems to be mathematically incompetent not distinguishing for example between a complex number and its magnitude and being sloppy and inconsistent in presentation. Quite a few typos on important points. His analysis on relay protection copies the great GE reference on the Art and Science of protective relaying at various places. His analysis on distance relaying is a disaster written by a person that seems not to understand the details behind it. The author is a very poor instructor in addition to be mathematically incompetent. Quite disappointed. Do not buy his book. Look for an alternative i. Book review I bought this book 2 month ago. It is an Excellent book for understanding protection. Covers all aspects of protection in distribution networks. Good introduction in other areas such as alarm processing. Excellent work.Slaven Kaluder

This then leads to an improved electricity service with better continuity and quality of supply.. A properly coordinated protection system is vital to ensure that an electricity distribution network can operate within preset requirements for safety for individual items of equipment, staff and public, and the network overall.
