This was difficult reading but once you get into the rhythm of it, it becomes easier. i do recommend it for all Saga readers that are interested in background info-- certainly not for anyone that is not interested in same. Banister While there are some similarities between the Norse and Greco-Roman classical myths, the Norse show that they truly have a sense of humor especially with Thor's escapades!. Excellent translation of valuable and entertaining material This classical translation of a classical set of sagas is both entertaining and instructive. We can all benefit from more exposure to these sagas.
