"Selah's Sweet Dream" had me reliving my childhood! This sweet book took me back to my childhood when I read everything I could get my hands on about horses. I lived out my dream of owning a horse through the written word of others. I had to wait 20 years before I could make that dream come true, but haven't been without a horse for the last 50 years! Selah's dream is shared by many little girls, and it's books like this that stir our imaginations and deepen our love and desire for a horse until that wonderful day when, like Selah, our dream comes . detailtracy said is exactly the kind of story I would have loved to read to my girls as they were growing. This is exactly the kind of story I would have loved to read to my girls as they were growing up!! We spent a good deal of time around horses when the girls were this age, and they both understand the challenges of training an intelligent and ornery horse!! I think the story very accurately depicts horse behavior, and what it is like to take a horse that has basically been left to it's own devices and train it to respond to human given direction. It's a great story to give to those girls who dream. Camge said Great Read!. Selah's Sweet Dream was a fun and enjoyable read. The plot contained enough suspense to keep turning the pages and looking forward to what would come next. The characters are well developed and I really hope the author will continue the story!
