"Misleading pictures" according to Marina Goldin. It is a great idea - to present excerpts for listening, suggestions for teacher, and pictures. I was very excited and purchased all of these. Unfortunately, pictures were very disappointing. It seems that the artist either didn't listen to music, or doesn't understand anything. Mood of the music has not been captured by the picture; quite opposite. For instance, bright, holiday, with bells ringing music of TROIKA by Prokofiev represented by dark shadows on the picture. A Customer If you have not tried Bowmar's Adventures in Music Listening for listening lessons, I would highly recommend it. There are two different levels available: K-2 and 3-5, with a third level for grades 6-8 still to be published. Level 1 has 32 lessons with outcomes and content standards that correlate to the National Standards for Music Education.
