Didn't hate it but close to it. This is an important era and I was hoping for an actual substantive HISTORY of Catalina. Instead, the book throws together some photos with basically content-free paragraphs. Very, very disappointing. This seems like a quick way to make a buck.. Vintage Years I'm not sure I really like the layout of this book, but the essay by Dr. Kevin Clarke on the history of Calatina from the late 70s to the early 90s and the many quotes from fouding father William Higgins and his "heir" Scott Masters are super. Loved them. Quite cheeky in tone, but that's what's so readable about the book in general. I wish they'd added a DVD to go with the titel, so you can actually see the various stars that are being talked about. Because you can't find many on the internet.
