This is a fantastic resource for accountants entering into not-for-profit organizations for the first time or to review further for accountants wanting more clarity in their current management positions. This book covers everything and has excellent sections on accounting and reporting guidelines for the many entity types of not-for-profit organizations. Also has a chapter covering entities on public not-for-profit (GASB). This book truly is worth keeping in the office as a valuable resource.. "For Reference Only" according to Brian Pope. As a reference book, I found this passable. There is good information, but it is tediously written and carelessly organized (some Exhibit references in the text are incorrect). As a class textbook (which it was for me) I found it redundant and frustrating.
