The way the two girls, Gianna and Aponi get two members of their family together is so touching and to find out the two girls are family. I love how the author uses the story to tell about two different nationalities of people and shows how learning about genealogy can help you add to your own fami. Gianna discovers something astounding, that changes her life forever!Becky Villarreal did a superb job, of creating charactors that her readers can easily relate too! As a retired teacher, youth minister and children' s book author myself, I personally recommend this book for children of all ages.
