What exactly is the author saying is long gone?An interesting exposition is laid out, as two crimes intersect, through three perspectives. While you keep reading to reveal the next surprise, a niggling incredulity crescendos to the somewhat implausible end. I don't regret getting to the last page, but I'm not sure I'd want to follow the long gone path again.If you favor subtle subterfuge and outright obfuscation accompanied by occurrences that are unexpected, Long Gone: A Novel will be a worthwhile choice.. No loose ends to complain about. Generally well written. Sorry Mary MacLean I would give this one star because there was an interesting underlying plot. However, the writing was dis-jointed. Transition was lacking. Maybe a good editor would help this writer.
