"Great book!" according to Dianna. I am taking graduate level physics classes and I carry this book to class with me. When introduced to a new topic in class, I read this first and then proceed to build on it. It does a great job in building the foundation and putting complicated terms into everyday situations. The math is not complicated, simple trigonometry and algebra. Easy read. Perfect for beginners.. Joe said Helps a Little, don't expect a Miracle. While the concepts are explained a lot better, they go no where near as in depth as most textbooks, and really only touch the surface of a lot of things. I gave the book 3 stars because I got the Kindle editio. The only issue is that the formulas are microscopic in size in the Kindle version. A major defect in my opinoin.
