"Overall a good book but NOT the style of the TEST" according to Adam F. Overall this book helped me get an idea of the expectations, duties, and the job description of a probation officer; I'd be lying if i said it didn't help me out in some way.However, the test that was administered to me was quiteee different from the way the book portrayed the examTo be honest I was really disappointed. I cant vouch for the reason why they were different, however my best guess is either the book was flawed or the makers of the test changed things around quiteee a bit.This book overall did help me familiarize. "Good Motivation" according to Annette. This book is good to get your mind focused on test taking and general info regarding Probation Officer duties. It is not a good indicator of the actual test materials. A big con for this book is that it does not explain the correct answer to the sample test questions or why other answers are incorrect, which most contemporary study guides do. However if you really get into the material you may be able to rationalize why certain answers are correct. I would consider other guides before buying this one.
