But here's where it breaks down for me -- one of the worlds they find (and save) happens to be one inhabited by HUMANS. But very little effort goes into finding out how there happens to be the same species millions of light years apart. There is also little ch. Two and a half stars I'll try another Second book…Here we find that Evan Currie has not lost his narrative productivity. The opening of the book may run on, a bit, but I still like his characters.The shortcomings he demonstrates with tech-speak, hard science, and typical military parlance ( though it is improving ) is compounded here by increased lapses in proof-reading.Someone needs to explain Doppler-shifts and also check his prose for consistent gender pronouns – but the later may be due to transcription errors.Where his plotting goes awry he at least has the . David London said Book "Book 2" according to David London. This book is just like the first book in the continuing epic. The sentence structure made it easy to read. The author did not leave anything for the reader to assume they knew what would happen next. I hope the next book will have some of the same sense keeping you on the edge of your chain.. .
