Interesting Story I bought this after reading The Black Rose. This follows the same format - based on an old legend and incorporating historical figures with a romantic sub-plot. It was an interesting story and I enjoyed it but The Black Rose was better, in my opinion.. Excellent book! I read this book as a young girl. So glad I read it again. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great read.. Audrey Porter said Five Stars. Excellent. Well researched.
