Four Stars Hard to see and appreciate paintings on a Kindle.. Why? I do not understand why this book is titled "for kids". There are twenty-four paintings but not a word about them other than their title. I was hoping this book would explain some of the paintings for my children, but am very disappointed.. Amazon Customer said See the #1 rated painting (Guernica) for under a dollar. What a group of "See the #1 rated painting (Guernica) for under a dollar" according to Amazon Customer. He has 2 in the top 10 (Guernica & Demoiselles of d'avignon-sp?). There is not so much of his later paintings, little of his red and blue paintings (a close friend died) and no bulls (my favorites). But most of the mainstays are there and I love it. "Woman who cried" (cited here as sobbing woman) which set the record for original lithograph was especially welcome. How a copy of a painting, even a first edition original lithograph, could fetch over $10 million is beyond me. Wish I had a couple.
